LLR.16
"Monks Ferry, on the Cheshire shore, in 1844".
So named, as this was the original point where the Monks of Birkenhead priory set up a ferry service. The view is looking down Ivy Street, to a sunlit panorama of Liverpool opposite. The Royal Mersey Yacht Club has its base nearby.
Image size : 4½" x 6½" (115mm x 165mm) - £5 each.
