Taken from a steel engraving by Hay after Harwood. - Ref : LLR.37 - Price £ 10 To place an order

This fine view of the bustling port was engraved for "Lancashire Illustrated" first published in 1829 by W.H.Pyne. The dock was named after George IV when Prince of Wales, and was opened on the day of his coronation, July 19th 1821.

The print is uncoloured, and measures 11 5/8" x 17 7/8" (292 x 455mm).
