This lovely image is taken from a Watercolour we sold some years ago. Samuel John Milton Brown was renouned for his marine art, and he painted many views of Liverpool. The ships cannot be identified (can you help ?), but it depicts a peaceful view of Liverpool between the wars.

Printed in an edition of 1000, the image area is 7 1/2" x 12". (191 x 305mm)
