Welcome
to the my website, which was originally set up for the Boydell Galleries. The gallery was established in 1851 by one of the descendants of John Boydell, who was both a well known figure in the art business in London in the 18th century, and Lord Mayor of London. Since then, the gallery has been supplying quality antique pictures to Museums, Collectors and Galleries throughout the art world. However, all good things come to an end eventually, and the gallery is now closed. I am now retired and running down the print stock. Early British Watercolours : We used to specialise in the early British school and the site shows some examples which we sold. I still have a few which are now in my own collection, & I illustrate these for interest. Contemporary Prints : I still have stocks of contemporary prints of views of Liverpool and the Mersey most of which are taken from oils or watercolours in our stock. Don't miss looking at the Brian Gordon collection of prints. Our antique print & map stock
is now very depleted, so, what we have left is being offered at silly
prices !!
